You can't undo what's done

You can’t erase what happened to you. Once a trauma has happened, the event itself can’t be changed.

But what can change are the stories, beliefs, and patterns you’ve carried since then.

When you start noticing them; becoming aware of how they show up in your thoughts, reactions, and relationships; you learn to create the space to respond differently.

With the right tools, patience, and compassion for yourself, those patterns begin to shift. With time, the thoughts/stories stops controlling you. You recognize the trigger, you understand the pattern, and instead of reacting automatically, you choose your response. That’s the real work of healing: not erasing the past, but changing your relationship with it.
